97 4runner.
I want to put this combo together and i have put a good amount of research into this... just am having a hard time fine tuning.
i want to put on OME 881's in the front with bilstein 5100's (is this even possible) along with that i want to also put on Revtek 3" susp lift with that.

just want to see if i am supposed to find a different bilstein strut to go with those OME coils. also any one have the part number for bilstein 5100's for front and rear.

The 881's provide a slight amount of lift. I've hear people having problems when adjusting the bilsteins over 0" with 881's though, so keep the bills set at 0. If they don't provide enough lift go to 882s.
Adding a spacer in with bills and 881's would just be stupid. Might as well not buy the bills/881's and just go with the spacers. But spacers suck, do it right the first time.

arent 882's for the taco's??? will these work with the 4runners without any modifications?

880's, 881's, and 882's are for 96-02 4Runners and 95.5-04 Tacoma's. You are aware that the 2 share the same front suspension, correct ?

read up also on Sonoran Steel website and the varieties/choices are endless. I share scubas sentiments regarding spacers-it seems to me most people that start with spacers just eventually end up getting rid of them.

Save your money, get quality first and enjoy quality products. The SS economy kit is amazing for the price and almost the same in cost compared to the OME front set up.

882s and even 883s are an option but if you're not carrying extra weight from a bumper, sliders, winch, armor, etc.., they will ride pretty darn stiff. The Billies can be used with the 881s and there should be no need for a top plate spacer because that's why you're getting the adjustable Billies - if it's not enough lift, then adjust the shocks up. The 3" Revtek spacer idea is a no go. Those kinds of spacer kits ONLY work with stock coils. It sounds like you're trying to get 5-6" of suspension lift which isn't going to happen unless you convert to a solid axle.

If you want that much lift, 3" suspension is the max so you'll need to do a body lift in addition to the susp to get it that high. But I have to ask why? If you're running 33s or smaller, your shooting yourself in the foot because it's overkill and you'll just be raising your center of gravity without any benefit whatsoever.

i do understand the weight issue for now, but i plan on adding sliders, a winch and a custom front bumper on in the near future. as for 33's... i am not sure if i will keep them on there or not. I want to put on 35's but i want to put on at 4.88's first on the rear end. its really all about setting this rig up right for whats to come. i need suspension bad on it and i just want to put on the right stuff from the get go. thanks

You can't just regear the rear end only or you won't be able to use 4x4. You have to regear both the front and rear diffs. If you're planning on adding that extra weight, then 882s or 883s without spacers will be good and will give ~3" of lift. I recommend the 883s, they won't sag as much as the 882s over time.

If you want to run 35s, it's better that you decide that now. If so, get the 3" suspension lift, then put a 2" body lift on top of that. You'll still need to do a good amount of trimming inside the fenders so you don't rub the tires. You can do a 3" BL, but I wouldn't recommend it. I think that's just too tall to be sitting your body on 3" pucks.

ok i am going to go with the 883's... but if that is a 3 inch lift i need to order the bilsteins with the right part number according to the lift... anyone know those numbers... 5100's and 5125's thanks
