Sway bars disconnected?

If i were to disconnect the sway bars for more travel where would i attach the bars so they don't flop around? Would it just be better to just take of the entire sway bar for a day of wheeling?

thanks
alex

I beleive that for your truck Nuke makes sway bar quick disconects. Its just a pull pin system that lets you quickly disconect and reconect it and latch it out of the way. I cant remember how to get in touch with him, but im sure that somebody who knows can chime in and let you know.

1.)I just zip tied mine up out of the way.

2.)I didn't care for the way it handled on the street without them.

Took mine off..definately more room for travel. Don't care for handling on street but you sure notice it.

Read this:

Then decide for yourself which side of the arguement you agree with before you spend any dough on sway bar disconnects.

Broke a front end link, zip tied the sway bar out of the way. Finally just took it completely off.

Broke the rear sway bar last week on White Rim. Zip tied it out of the way.

Haven't noticed any adverse effects on road, but definitely notice the offroad improvement!

Yes! and adding BJ spacers helps even more. As far as road manners I can't tell much differences, but off road is big.
