that would be nice but i do not quite have the money for that. and the knuckle ball gussets are only 39bucks so definatelly doing that. anything else?

oh and about the front hanger being forward, i am planning on running 40's so i do not want to worry about firewall rubbing.

TG springs, depends on how hard you wheel them.
You wheel hard? RUF. TGs wont last.
I say throw them on the YT Marketplace, you can use that money to get a few rear packs and pocket extra cash.
5" HD is HUGE. Too high to wheel if you ask me.
I did the 4" and regret it. I'm going to bring my chevys back to stock and put a stock rear 51 pack in the front. Want to be lowwwwww

well this truck will do some wheeling, i mean maybe hit the trails once a month, but it is a dd. and i live in mudville haha i live in louisiana so a big tire is what you need down here for mud. i love trails and try to go as often as i can but near by mud trails are 2 minutes away. besides i have a full sizish chevy and a toyota trailblazer for my serious stuff. and besides any flex is better than what i got, and i do great while hangin tire EVERYWHERE! haha

oh and i have some 63inch chevy's sitting in the bed of my truck waitint to be put on FYI

Anything over 35s and you are going to need to trim something. I typically tub the firewall 37s and higher.

ruf will move the front end forward nicely. im running 37x13.50 iroks on a 10" wheel with no rubbing/tubing. another good spot to gusset is under the frame behind the front hanger, ive seen multiple frames crack there with out it.

here is a crappy pic

cant wait to see the finished product!

I have 4" TG springs and they have made it two years of pretty good wheeling. No jumps or mashing KOH style. They settle but, they settle into some flexy springs. Obviously, bump stop them. I cut my bump stops down about 1". Just didn't have enough up travel. I was hitting them pretty hard before I cut them down.
If I were doing it again I would locate the shackle tubes closer to the front of the body mount then what TG says. TG likes a steep angle and I would prefer a more slack angle. Mount the hanger forward about 3/4" from the cross member and the tubes about 1" forward from the center of body mount.
Here is mine 4" TG front and rear. It could flex better with a better shackle angle. I will handle that next winter.

Um...........A side from the engine, trans, harness, and EVAP emissions stuff you will need an oil pan, oil pick up tube, dip stick tube and a new crossover pipe, unless, you want to buy another solid axle with driver drop then you need a 3.4 t-case also. Plus some misc. fittings sensors motor mounts. But seriously don't take the easy way and ask others, do your own research. Here is a start for your research. Good Luck its a lot of work and $.
