options/decisions on what to do next.

alright. ive got my new shackles and ball joint spacers installed over the past couple of days, and im ready to move on to the next project. im rtying to decide which to do first. heres the options.

i could a- buy new stock leaf springs

b- buy aftermarket leaf springs to lift the back more.

3- buy new shocks(i know this is limiting my downtravel right now in the rear)

6- buy a new amp for my woofer.

the last one- buy a body lift.

WHADA I DO? lol

lol. u want some pics of my sweet jacked up 2wd eh? lol. i guess i can try and take care of that at some point soon. cant download pics onto this comp, and dont have the pics in the first place. lol. i was going to take pics step by step with the install, but my camera went mia and i was far too excited to wait till i found it. lol.

VERY EXCITE.

anyways, id like to go with shocks, at least for the rear, then work everything else out from there. however, all the info iv got so far is that "ranchos are the only shocks that wilkl be longer than stock, and they say one inch so u could probally get 2 inches of lift from them" that coming from the advance auto parts guy. lol. soooo, id liek to go in with a part # or something that i could use to get what i want.

what im rly looking for is shocks with maybe a slightly stiffer compression than the stock, but abuot the same, and a couple inches more reach. id like to keep the stock mounting points though. it looks so easy... lol.

or i could just go back to advance and see if i could find someone to talk to with maybe a little more knowledge... hmm. well. im going to search up some more on the threads on shocks, and hopefully i'll obtain a part number somewhere for what im looking for...

patience. ha. thats one thing i lack sorely. lol. not rly, but when it comes to sitting in an office where its freezin freakin cold, when i could be right across the street at advance... gone.

anyways, im almost set on the ranchos. just the cheap ones. but im still thinkin theres gotta be a site where u can input data as to what u actually want. lol.

heres what i want. slightly stiffer than stock, same mounting as stock, about 3-4 inches longer than stock. and around $50 or less each. lol. thats usually the kicker.

now for an entirely new train of thought.

the wheels/tires i have on now are about 2-3 inches bigger than the ones i exchanged them with, and the new ones hide inside the wheel well, whereas the old ones sat about an inch outside.

the problem- before i installed the new shackles and ball joint spacers, i didnt rub at all. 0 rub (except when i jumped it, it rubbed a little there, but tis to be expected). now when i have it turned between 90-100% it rubs like crazy. somethin weird with that? at least i think its rubbing. about 99.763% sure its rubbing.
