just thought i would let you guys know that im new to this forum. just getting into this toyota stuff. right now heavy into light duty diesel perfomance. right now have an 87 4runner to start for my project. got it on the cheap side. wasnt running took it apart last night and found that i bought one with a broken timing chain. good news the link that broke was sitting on the chain guide so no links in the oil pan. and so far all the valves look good. none are pointing in the wrong direction
