Name this plug
I have 1994 pickup 22re 5spd 4x4 I can't figure out what it is for there is no spot to plug it in. Does anyone know what this plug is? 2 wire green w/white stripe- brown w/black stripe. Located on intake manifold

My 91 22re has a mystery wire and connector as well. I'm not sure of the colors and it's raining pretty good so I really don't want to go out and check it. I was told it plugs into the A/C -IF- the trucks are so equipped from the factory. Mine didn't come with A/C so I just taped it up out of the way.

Sounds just like my 91. When it was around 90 degrees I thought maybe they deleted the heater control knob too. It just seemed way too hot in there!

Just thought I'd double check since were identifying connectors.
Is this actually a connector for the A/C on my 91 22re?
The wire colors are:
Black with red stripe and a plain old Blue wire.
The wires leading to the connector comes out of a bundle of wires under the intake plenum. It's the lower cable with the loose black tape on it.

That looks like a connector to a VSV. The A/C VSV (according to my wiring diagram, which is technically for a '94 t100, but has not let me down yet) has a Black-Red and a White-Red.
Do you have A/C? Do you have the VSV, and is it missing a wire?
I can't tell anything from the bundle location, as I have a different flavor engine.

I do not have A/C and the truck doesn't have the dash controller for it.
I looked at the connector in question and it doesn't appear to be missing any wires from it.
I've only been able to locate two VSV's, one Red/Brown and the other is Blue.
Each VSV has a connector hooked to it that is the same color as the VSV it's connected to. I'm thinking they are correct because of the color match.

Odin, that IS for the a/c idle-up vsv, according to wire color. The blue should be hot with the EFI main relay.

So what I was originally told was true.
There was another connector but I'm pretty sure it goes to the factory A/C compressor because it only has one wire and it's hanging between the cold start injection sensor and the coolant sensor.

For the most part Toyota used the same wiring harness for said engine regardless of accessories. You will find a few plugs that go to nothing on your truck but have full use on another.
