Valve Adj = Labor Labor Labor on 3VZE , why did they have to put that intake over the passenger head (crying) .

Ive done valve adjustments one my 3vze and a 5vzfe both use the same method

As follows,
remove intake, valve covers, timing belt, cam pullies along with the cams.

Then take out the shims, grab your micrometer and do some crazy equations.
Go down to the dealer and pay 15 bucks each for a tiny slab of metal and replace. Easily a days worth of work.

Cams can be left in for the job but you will need a couple toyota special service tools also known as $$T's
