the more crap cou can cram on the peg board and get into (tool)boxes the better. Small Garages are easy to fill up, wait......I meant all garages fill up quick. Seems to me, if you have space inside not being utilized it turns into storage space ie. unorganization. Just keep things off the floor and cleaned up on a regular basis. Its hard to pull off (I did it out of a 2 car garage too) VERY easy to clutter up.

Our shop is somewhat smaller like yours and we try to utilize the walls as much as we can -

-Make some deeper shelves that are good and sturdy.
-organize and try and put things back when your done, i know it's hard for all of us
-we have a ton of those plastic hansen organizers for sockets, we like them because you can just grab a tray and you have all your 3/8" sockets in one place
-we have 16 cheap plastic toolboxes from HD that all have a home on the shelf and we labeled the outside what was in them, makes it easy to find what you need, and quickly
- give everything a home and make sure it goes home when you done using it

It looks like your long workbench could use a shelf under it for some extra storage and definitly some cabinets or some shelves above...

Do you still put your car in there?

i am going to build more cabinets the winter. the only time we park the wife's car in there is when it going to hail. i bought more peg hooks to day, that is why the bench is a mess. my tig machine is behind the bottles, and i need to build a cart for it. my four wheeler has a house of its own in the backyard, just getting it ready for hunting season. i need a 7 drawer tool box, that would be a big help.

I've got a pile of broken stuff, a pile of broken tools, a pile of used tools, and everything I have no use for is hanging on peg-board. and 4 giant toolboxes.
