The end of the first post may help-
https://www.yotatech.com/forums/f116...nt-faq-192781/

Just elevate the front of the vehicle so the top of the radiator is above all heater hoses, slide heater control all the way to hot, make sure rad is cool then pull the cap off the rad and run the motor. Once the engine reaches operating temp, hold rpms around 2000-2500 for a while to get the coolant circulating well. Refill radiator with antifreeze or a 50/50 antifreeze/distilled water mix as the air works its way out. (Make sure you use the same type antifreeze as what's in there.) Then recap the rad and you should be good.

It's air in the system, plain and simple. If doing what sb5 doesn't work, look for pinholes in any cooling hoses. Even a pin hole will cause those symptoms. After that, it gets into a different ball park, but I won't mention that yet.

Where did the A/F come out? Did the vehicle overheat at the time? Possible blown head gasket. Compression test would give you more info.

No, that's caused by leaks, or a BHG.

No, because when the the HVAC knob is pushed to the left (cool air), it closes the heater valve so little to no coolant circulates through the heater core. That's where you're hearing the air/gurgling from- the 'core.

That's what I didn't want to mention before, the possibility of a BHG.
