air leak at the injector! What do I do?

Exclamation air leak at the injector! What do I do?

What the hell do I do? I tried pushing it further in, but nothing changed. It took me weeks to find the leak only to find out this. Can I get a new seal or somethin'?

New injectors are way too much.

There are four different seals on an injector.

can I replace the seal, because the injectors are at least 10 yrs but they work fine? Or maybe I'v gotten use to them, whatever. I'v told myself in the past that if I replace one, I'll do them all. I just ow it to the old red man.

Depends on if the injector itself is leaking, or just the seals around it.

if its just the seals around it, replace all 3 seals per injector. And buy them from Toyota. Some aftermarket suppliers wont even have a clue what you mean, and will ARGUE with you and try to say they only have 1 or 2 seals.

4 Seals:

1. O ring at the very top of the injector (where it goes into fuel rail)
2. Seat directly below that
3. O ring at the bottom of the injector
4. O ring on the outside of the injector seat (bakelite surround around the injector)

How do you find a leak in an injector?

The leak is reeeaaallllyy loud. So using a little home made listening device, I was able too locate the leak.
