seeing as tho i am a part of a Scion club, what about the head off the 2.4L VVT-i 4 cylinder that comes in the tC? or the smaller 1.5L head off the xB???

I have a 20R head already milled down sitting on top of a 22R block with dome pistons, 4sale, 9.5:1 compression.

block rehoned
20r head milled down
lc cam
lc valves and cam
dual 44 mikunis w/2 piece manifold
doug thorley header
marlin crawler clutch and flywheel

how does that sound?

why not rather build up a 3rz(if you want a 4cyl) than spend that money on a old 22r?

Im in the process of building a 20r head stuffed with chevy valves , Is the timing chain cover different for the double row time chain

I believe the timing cover for dual row is different.

ya know..there is someone around here doing the 22R/20R hybrid with EFI from a 22RE.
