pace setter header?

I have an 85 toyota pickup 5spd 4x4, but it has an 83 engine. so should I get part # 70-1188 or 70-1080 header? heres the site: http://www.pacesetterexhaust.com/headers_truck.php

Don't do it. Doug thorley is the way to go, cheapest quality header you'll find.

http://board.marlincrawler.com/index.php?topic=41205.0 is for a used one.

Had major fitment problems with pacesetter, customer service rocked. After I explained the problem they sent me another header (different part number) and still fitting problems. When I did get it to fit it tripped and tripped and tripped O2 sensor codes.

Stay away from the pacesetter, I made the mistake of getting one a few yrs back and it was a piece of garbage. I had to auger out all the bolt holes so I could get it on. The paint burns right off and it just turns to rust. I have since switched to a Doug Thorley and it is far superior, great finish that blues nicely and the fit is perfect. But anyway if you go with the pace setter get the one for your year of engine, not your truck.

well its to late now cause I already ordered it. Im not worried about the paint because I can just buy header paint and repaint it. Hopefully mine will fit without any trouble. But powerwise would the thorley be better?

As far as the 22r or 22re go I don't really think you'd see any difference in power gains from one header to the other unless you do head work (port polish, cam etc.) then maybe. It just comes down to quality and pace setter is pretty much at the bottom. If your not worried about how it looks and don't mind having to do some trimming to make it fit then it will be fine.
