Stupid Lighting Question.
I snagged a set of driving lights for free off a truck my dad's parting out. They're some cheapo offroad lights, but they're kinda nice in that they use a regular sealed beam headlight. The question I have, is where should I tie them into the wiring? I don't always want them on while my headlights on. They'll be mounted to the front bumper.
Also, I have a driving/fog light laying around I want to run as a reverse light, can I just splice it into the normal reverse light wiring?

run completely separate wires to their own switch if you don't want them tied into the headlights. You could run them through the fuses box or not but don't worry about tying them into current wires.

What about say...wiring to the high beam only (driving lights come on with the highs)? How would I pull that off and what would I need so I didn't kill something? Sorry for the simpleton questions, but I'm not great with car electrical systems. I have basically the whole electrical system of an 89 Kenworth K100 at my disposal here to make something work, my dad bought it for the axles to go in his work truck and the rest is just kind of sitting.
