Grab your windsurfing gear and roll into the gorge!

This is a rare early quadcab conversion. I'd inspect the frame, and then buy it at that price. No one would expect a perfect 30+ year old conversion, but if I lived in the neighborhood, I'd snag it. As an early conversion, in (possibly) good shape, it is made of that elusive material called

unobtanium

Someone is going to pick up a VERY unique vehicle.

I'd rock that thing if I could afford to pick it up. I could definately see some interesting road trips happening in it.

You know how hard it is to find older Yota trucks with good frames. It could be a RARE opportunity. A midwestern or Northeastern (gasp) truck will be swiss cheese, but this one might be OK. That frame was extended by a California custom build company for Toyota. I would like to look under there and see how it has geld up. An old friend of mine had a 4x4 version conversion (NOT dually). I think it was like 1985 or so. He got a colormatch top for it, and they used to go fishing/camping all the time (two little kids). It was more seamless than this yellow dually, looked a little more "factory". He loved it. I wonder if he has any pictures???
