carb linkage B.S.

ok so im an idiot, when i rebuilt my engine i ditched the AC, electric choke, and emissions crap. when i did this i also ditched enough of the carb linkage (all stack aisan) to make sure my secondary barrel doesnt open at all, upper and lower butterfly. i have some assorted linkage parts that i kept but its a puzzle, does anyone have any good pics of the stock linkage?

im trying to talk myself out of buying a new weber to fix it.

please help, (should i just buy the 32/36)?

"ok so im an idiot," ----------n'uff said. WTF? Find a FSM--it will have all the info you need to put the carb linkage back like it was before you ruined it.

carb linkages are something I've never understood. I'd either take it to a carb shop with the linkage parts or go with the weber

the secondary is vacuum actuated... a diaphragm has to pull on a certain linkage and it releases another linkage so when you put your foot into it the secondary flap opens.

You'll probably need another carb in front of you as a guide. Get one off ebay for $20 and copy it. And then you've got a spare for parts!
