I've searched everywhere and don't come up with anything that tells me what the stock shifter boot/boots are supposed to look like in an 81 long bed PU. When I bought mine the PO had a towel wrapped around the tranny shifter and the end of it tucked around the transfer case selector. Is the boot supposed to be one piece, are there two separate boots or a console? Need some help if anyone has pics. Thanks, Fred

Thats weird my 82 is like the one Derek has shown.

 

This is the boot setup that came in my 82, it seemed stock

This is my new setup in my 81, it has a body lift so i had to make the opens a little bigger so just went to crappy tire and bought the 2 boots for $15 each.

 

Sure wish mine had the rubber boots instead of the leather one that is all cracked.
