shifter loose

I know what the prob is (I think) the little bushings have been all worn out anybody know where i can get some replacments???? I think the previous owner(s) used the shifter as a o-crap handle, I cant complain I catch myself doing it also and swiftly scorn myself

I just got her (In Jan) and everthings perfect short of that and lack of wax over ther years (repainting in jan 07!) 220K odo by the way runs excellent (compression and leak down, in spec! meaning no burnt valves,...yet )... 91 4wd 3vzre (v6) auto

4RunnerMax, mine shifter on my automatic is also VERY loose and wobbly. I haven't taken it apart yet and checked it out but I will post the part numbers for the bushings you need sometime in the next week on this thread. I wanted to start to fix mine Monday because I already have to pick up a switch and a couple of gaskets at the dealer Tuesday or Wednesday. If you don't get it straightened out by next week check this thread again.

Thanks a lot chickenlover! I hadn't even searched this yet 'cause this is the kind of work I do, I was just going to tear it apart and then get the parts. This will save me some down time.
