I am sad to say, but my Toyota has bit the bullet. It is to bad, i really enjoyed the vehicle and it ran awesome up untill the day she died. It is a 1990 4 Runner Limited, Power windows, power locks, power mirrors, sunroof, Cruise control ect... It has all the bells and whistles. The AC however does not work, but that is the least of its problems. The vehcile is a 4x4 with an auto tranny, it died at 144,000 miles. The body is in excellent shape along with the interior. The interior is spotless, it is as clean as a vehicle off the showroom floor. There are not major dents or scratches in the body, just a small door ding here and there, all maybe 3 or 4 in total. There is a small section of surface rust over the passenger side rear wheel well, very easy fix. The motor i believe has a blown head gasket, it died on the side of the highway one day, coolant all over the ground and tons of white smoke of the tail pipes. I have since not been able to get the motor to start and so it is just sitting, which kills me because it is a very nice vehicle for its age. I hate to see it go to waste. I do not have the time or the money to invest into putting another motor into it. I have had it listed locally but have not had any bites on it, so i figured i would list it on the Toyota forums to see if anyone is interested in it. I would like to get $1500 for it or best offer. I can deliver the vehicle within a 500 mile radius of where i live, though there will be an extra charge for the delivery, but that can be worked out later if someone is interested. why not just replace the head gasket? not that difficult, and pretty low cost to have your favorite vehicle back.

as for pictures, use photobucket or the like. and where exactly in maine are you located, and how much are you willing to let it go for?

 

I would replace the headgasket, but i do not have the time to do it, between work and school. I am not sure if the head is cracked, it maybe but i am not sure. Also i believe the fuel pump is bad because it wont start and there is not fuel coming out of the fuel lines when i crank the motor. I have more pictures of it. I bought it at the begining of March with 128K miles on it. I used it for work. I would like to get $1500 for it. It would make a great vehicle if someone was to fix it, or it would make a great off road vehicle too.
