I have two Offenhauser intakes. The C series one and the Dual Port one. I'm replacing the C series one with the Dual Port, but the water plates are different. I need to know how to obtain the water plate for the Dual Port intake. I keep seeing something about an 81 water plate, but haven't been able to find a photo of one to confirm that's the one I need. Any help would be appreciated

these photos are the bottom side of both intakes. anyone interested in buying the "C" series one I'll clean it up and sell the water plate with it.

 

does one have round ports and the other square? the bottom one looks a lot like a 20R manifold, at least in terms of the water plate, but then again, it doesn't have the second hole in the rear side for the heater/choke hose.

on my offy manifold, the holes were enlarged and the threads all buggered up, so i bought a pipe tap and plug, and tapped out the hole that goes into the water passage at the thermostat housing, and plugged it. helps keep the intake charge a little cooler(at least in theory)

 

I was able to resolve my issue. Turns out the water plate is of 84 vintage. I went to Pick a Part in Lakewood and they had an 84 x-tra cab 2wd. Only 25 dollars for the whole manifold and some related emissions components. Do you have any emissions componets that I can buy or locate? I'm looking for the California emissions components. The truck isn't registered due to the fact that I have none on it. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
