Basslink II vs. Q-Logic enclosure

Basslink II vs. Q-Logic enclosure
My system right now, a kicker solobaric 10" L7 in a vented box takes up too much space in my rear cargo, it's becoming a pain, and I really don't need that much bass anymore (I'm past the stage of turning your system up as loud as it goes to impress friends).
So I'm thinking of downgrading to a more economical setup. I can get a killer deal on a new Basslink II, $200 shipped w/ warranty, but I can also get a killer deal on a used Q-Logic enclosure, $100, but then I'd have to go find a quality 10" to put in it.
I like the idea of the Q-Logic box, but would I lose the function of my rear cargo cover? Also, I was thinking I could install the basslink with quick disconnects on the wiring so If I did need space I could just unclip it and move it.
Any advice?

hmmm, well since i dont know the dimensions of the qlogic, its really really hard to determine whether or not you would lose function of cargo carrier, dont bother posting it if you have it, just go outside and check......
and with the quick disconnectability... i have an amp under DS seat, with speaker wires back to bandpass single 12 box, this allows me to just flip the amp off with a switch under the dash, and disconnect the speaker wires, still very easy to take out..
Is the basslink II amplified? if so you will have power, ground, remote (unless its autosensing from RCA's) and the RCA's to unplug, to move you would have to make sure the power wire doesnt touch anything when disconnected...

Check this thread for Bob's words on the Q-Logic:

As an alternative, check into the Bazooka tubes. I run a 8" tube mounted on the left rear wheel hump and it sounds just fine!

watch out with the QLogic QForm Box. i have one and it was a major PITA. It fits nicely and looks great, but mine rattled like crazy. I used a ton of dynamat extreme and then still had to stuff the panel behind it with foam. Its nice that its out of the way though. i've heard Lee's basslink and it sounds awesome. I would go that route with the quick disconnect idea. Also, my box cracked after the first test run to make sure the sub worked. Q Logic said i could ship the box back and they would then decide if it was warranty-able and then i had to pay to ship it back. I just dynamatted it and the rattle is gone now. Just to forwarn you.
