Full float kit is a simple 5 step install:
1)take out your semi float axles,
2)put in the new chromo axles and grease the hub end,
3) bolt on the hub chunk and install the c clip on the axle and the grease cap,
4) bleed the brakes
5) and go!!!!

You would also need to install the parking brake cable to the Supra Calipers, and proportioning valve to the rear line...

Feeling dumb right now, full float kit is for front or rear axle? Thanks!

The dumb question is the one unasked... The front is inherently full float, this kit is for the rear.

Here's a shot of the bolt on 8" full floater chunk

This is an example of the 6 pin mod. This example is on a locking hub, mine is on a hub flange.

but would your 84 rear third happen to work in one of the newer pickups such as a 93...my friend is quite desparate in his search and if it does, you can consider it sold

Pm'ed you, and I won't be flaming anyone. I just figured out what will fit in what because of these items I'm selling. I tried to fit my third into a Tacoma housing, but found out that wouldn't work... Thus ensued the extensive questioning of several forums to finally understand what works and what doesn't. There are some good threads on how to identify what you have, but few that deal with what will swap with what. Check out this one.
