My 22 year old son lives in Ft. Lauderdale and works in Boca. He has an '02 4Runner Limited.

I want to find someone in the area who can help him or guide him to someone who can help him with his 4Runner. He's a great cook but not so great as a mechanic.

 

Whats he need done?

 

First of all let me say he is a GREAT guy.

I want to send him some Addco sway bars with ALL the hardware. The way WE are doing the Addco install is not by the book but is by the JALaber book , so I need someone to help him who understands.

BUT, more important than that, I want him to have the aid of a good mechanic that is not only good but reasonable and honest. He is going to the Toyota dealer for everything right now and I can't expect that he could afford what they would charge him for putting those bars on. I am sure you understand what I am saying.

I tried to give him a TRD exhaust system but he didn't want it. I am going to Boca next month and am going to install a dash kit for him (it's a surprise ) but that is about the extent of what I can do given the handicap of flying and not knowing the area.

 

When are you going down there. What dates. Do you have a place to work on the truck? Also what way are you installing the sway bars? I just ordered a set from Summit 2-3 weeks delivery. What other parts are you using (a list would be good). Let me know.

I live in fort myers, florida, if he absolutely has to have help, im available most weekends if he dont mind drivin.... i work at a ford dealer here so i have access to everything....oh, and i work cheap... like buy me lunch cheap lol

I thank you very much for your offer, but I think I need to find someone closer to where he lives.

I also want to find a good professional mechanic (like you) that is in his area so that he has someone to go to on a regular basis.

I live in Boca Raton, but I don't think I'd be much help with installing these things. I can point him in the direction of a few good and honest mechanics though.
