Advice on Plasma cutters

Hey Guys,
I found out that I love using a plasma cutter. I was in an art gallery in Albuquerque and saw something and said "Hey...I can do that and save myself $500!". So I was at my uncles fire truck factory in Belen, NM and used his plasma cutter to make some artwork. Now people want me to make them some and now I am back in Texas and do not have access to one.

I see them all over the place on Ebay for $450+...but I am pretty frugal and hope to find one cheaper. I just need it for mild steel and aluminum sheets. So a low powered one would work fine.

I was at Northern Supply and like the Hobart Airforce 250, but I ain't paying a grand for it.

Advice? Place to buy one cheap?

IMHO: if you are only doing light stuff (<1/8") might want to check this out

while more $$, your dollars would be better spent getting the hobart or the "drag-gun plus"

I don't have any experence with the 450.00 units on ebay, but keep an eye out, you can locate a good used one from time to time for about $$500-600.00 don't forget to check craigslist.org also.

Luckily it looks like we have one I can use in our production line maintenance shop. WooT! But in the long term I want to buy one.
