Can the number 3 camshaft bearing cap leak oil?

I just had my heads redone on a 3.0. I am getting a leak from the rear right side of the vehicle. Upon further investigation I can see oil coming from what looks like the bearing cap. It could hopefully be the valve cover. I did use sealant on the bearing cap but only did the rubber seal on the valve cover. I have read that some people put a bit of sealant in the corner of the valve cover.

I plan on taking it apart tomorrow. My question is will it hurt the cam if I take only the number 3 cap off and reseal it or do I need to take the timing belt off and all of the caps and retorque them?

the only bearing caps that can leak are the end ones. i would say it is either the valve cover leaking or they milled the heads to much and it is leaking at the oil returns at the head gasket/ w/ i hope that is not the case.

i like to use a little rtv on valve cover seals, ill put a real thin bead inside the seal grove, seat the seal in the grove, then smear a real light coating on the outside of the seal. make sure the mating surface is clean, and you should put a dab on each corner of the front and rear cam seals.
