Has anyone fixed their driver side door hinges or is it pretty cheap to buy good used or new ones?

My door won't shut worth a damn and it's getting pretty annoying.

"They are worn out. The door sags to the point that it won't shut very well. I could loosen the bolts up and lift the door, but that would be a temporary fix."

 

You can put washers in there to hold it up for now while you're looking for hinges. Call the dealer and get a price. I would suspect they are fairly cheap. If not, I also have a good set. I have bought them for other cars for around $30.

 

Yeah I dunno how to fix them. But if you want a used set. send me $20 and I'll ship them to ya. If your interested you CAN PM me now.

I replace both of the driver's side hinges on my 91. I got them from the junkyard. IIRC, I actually got the off a pre-89 truck, and they were the same. I had to pull the left front fender off to work easily.

 

These quick release pin hinges show Out of Stock on their website:

But, they definitely look like they're worth waiting for, these hinges are too cool. Just crimp a disconnect for your door speakers and with two pins, Ping! Off the door comes, cool as a Jeep, especially if you don't have air conditioning. If you know any fabbers, ask them for tube doors for a '94 p/u. I can't find tube doors for my rig after I replace my hinges with these quick pin release hinges.

 

WOW! Those are awesome!! I might go that route if I can't find any stock ones for less.

I was going to try and make my own quick disconnect hinges. But then Adam came out with those ones above and I have to have those. Since I have 4X Innovation tube doors I feel the need to have the matching hinges.
