I have a 1992 4runner 4wd 3vze automatic. When started cold it runs ok for about 3 minutes. Then it will only idle or run at full throttle, anything in between and it will sputter and stall. I changed the TPS, removed the injecters, checked and cleaned them. Egr valve was removed and checked. There is no check engine light.

 

I found an old thread that suggested disconnecting the TPS. When I did this the engine seems to run ok but with less power.

Possible, but not likely unless you've sunk it in water.
