URD short shifter for your second gen Runner

Hi Everyone,
I just wanted to let you know that URD short shifter for the 5VZE trucks works with our V6 second gens. I've installed one in my 95 4Runner and it is a great upgrade and a rock solid design. It's kinda of a $pendy upgrade but it fixed all my shift problems with a 2" 4Crawler body lift. The shifter is now in the factory position or close to it in my Runner. Anyways I just wanted to pass this info along. Make sure you have the R150F trans in your ride.

This Thread started it and then I did some research. From the research I've done the V6 (8/88) and up use manual R150F transmissions . This is the same transmission Gadget designed one of his short shifters for .
So with that being said I couldnt resist trying one in my Runner you know charged and all .
Anyways here is the install instruction's Here

The pictures of my install look very much like the install directions.

Oh YEAH, The install was butter and the result was cake ! maybe 30 minutes at the most..

The short shifter kit moves your shifter higher about an inch this will somewhat make up for the body lift . Not only is it a faster shift it also compensates for the angle of your shifter after your body lift. The kit also shortens your stroke by about 40% so you can get in gear faster.
