This is a street rig only and I am looking to speed it up quite a bit. Currently got a 1st generation supercharger and flowmaster muffler. Come one, come all with your suggestions on hop-ups and ideas. Thanks in advance to all!

Only stuff that I personally have seen to improve performance have been air intake mods, performance headers, upgrading on-board ignition computer (usually kicks out a few more HP) and re-gearing dependign on what you roll on...I'm sure there are other cheap tricks out there, but it's sometimes best to keep with what will give you yer money's worth.

Headers and fuel management upgrades. Most of the SC guys on here have detonation problems, so you might want to take care of that first.
Headers would be the biggest bang for your buck after the SC.
The elec fan upgrade will help you out too. For me, it increased throttle response, and freed up a few HP. On a SC truck, it should help you come on to boost a little quicker.
Welcome, and get your debit card ready.

Hmm that is interesting about the detonation. We sell a ton of S.C.s here Toyota of Richardson and I have yet to hear of detonation problems. The techs here all run them and none of them seem to have any problems. As for the headers, I have been warned about putting those on due to excessive leaning out of the engines? Anyone heard any of this?

Check out www.gadgetonline.com. He has a good write-up on the FMU problems, etc with the stock SC set-up. Some people get pinging, and others dont.

Hey-
You should also read this thread (its kinda long) about another piggy-back engine management system, looks really promising for you S/C guys. If you read Gadget's site, then you should have just about everything else covered. Good Luck in your quest for speed!
