I'm getting 32x11.5 tires on 15x10 rims. I'm getting mixed reactions from off-road centers. A few not recommending this set-up, a few insisting it can be done w/ no problems. Any advice? I should mention that I have a 2" body lift w/ the 32s' on my stock 15x7 wheels.

 

cool rob, I have 15x10 Centerlines with 32x11.50 BFG's. I'm not sure if it made a difference but the backspacing on my rims are 5". I had to go with at least a 1 1/2" lift or the fronts would have rubbed the fenderwell where the mudflap bolts on. I think some people have pounded this area in for clearance.

 

i am running the same, 32x11.5 bfgs on 15x10 M/T classics. they barely clear my brake callipers, BARELY. but i have had no problems off-Highway, even at 10 lbs and under. I say just go for it, i know i like the set-up.

 

That's way too wide of a rim for those tires... Stick with a stock 7" or a 8" wheel.. 10" is going to make your sidewalls almost flat!! You can pretty much forget about airing down too..

Also I have 32"s on my 92.. I had no rub at all with stock bump stops and just very light minor rub at full lock & compression

A 7" is stock for the 31" tire package, so a 32 which is 1 " wider should be perfect on a 8".. but they fit fine on a 7".. a 10" is 2 sizes too wide...

 

i can drive on the road with 0 in the rear and 6 in the front. i wheel at 10 and have yet to loose a bead.

 

Do you wheel on rocks, mud, or fire roads?? That is still too wide of a rim for a 11.5 tire...

it is a lot of rim for that tire, but it works well. i wheel mostly mud and sand, with rocks always thrown in the mix. i personnaly went with the 10's with plans for 33x15.5 sx's down the road, but have since changed my mind on that particular tire. all i know is that it works for me, but i dont have a runner. you guys have about 1,500-2,000 lbs on me .
firefyter, what kind of tires are those, they look nice. my bfg's are a wearing.

 

So far they are a great tire.. and strangly almost silent??!! They are made by a company like TBC (they own a couple companies like "Big-O" and some other "no name brands")

I like them and I only paid $300 mounted & balanced for all 4...
