All-Pro rear bumper and exhaust
I am within a few days of getting my new exhaust bent up. I can't decide how to route the tail pipe, so where else would I get the best knowledge....
Lets see pics of your tail pipe, stock and custom, with an allpro rear bumper, and what you do and dont like about it....

From what I recall, my tip rusted off before I got the bumper on, is that the tail pipe is quite a bit lower than the bumper. I dont want it where it can get hung up.
4runner or P/U doesnt matter, the bumper and tail pipe are very similar. On my runner I had the tail pipe come out in the front of the bumper and the bumper height. But I now have 35's and that might be a bit tight??
Just looking for other ideas

ok, the reason I asked pickup or runner was because of exiting in the rear... If it were on a runner and you made it exit out the back then the fumes would come straight in when the window is down.
If you are worried about clearence and don't mind using a hole saw then what I would do is cut a hole in the side of the bed where the factory bumper wrapped around and exit the exhaust their.
heh.. let me know if that makes sense.

yeah, neither am I. I'll see if I can chop a picture later to give you a better idea of what I am talking about. Basically it would still be in the factory positioning only raising it up higher.

That looks good... I already have the 56"ers in, not they they affect my shackle. I could come under the frame in front of the shackle and dump it like that.
Here is what my runner had, I routed it to the pass side because it was too loud on the drivers :-) I wont do that this time though.
If you look close above the right rear you can see the pipe infront if the bumper.

Probally depends on what they are made for, could be custom and provide any number you want. Stock chevy leaves, I think 63", can be good for about 4".

Haha--hijacking my own thread....Who makes these? Are you going spring under for the axle wrap? Where do you do most your wheeling? I dont see many people going TO a spring uner....or is that just what they are made for, and what rig is that?

Sorry about the hijack.
Deaver makes the springs. I does reduce axle wrap, but mostly used to gain wheel travel. I hoping to get around 17.5-18" of travel out of the springs. I'm mostly into desert racing and 4x4 stuff, not rock crawling.

Thats cool.... so you'll get 18" of travel at both wheels at once.... I can get 19 or so from my alcans, but it requires stuffing the other side... Should be sweet for hi-speed runs
