Question Time to get an EGT gauge - any advice?

I am sick of running my rig without knowing the EGT. I understand that a hole will need to be drilled in the exhaust system, a bung welded in, the probe screwed in, the wires routed, and the gauge installed – but I need to know if there is a specific type of gauge I should be looking for, where I should get it, and if any of you ran into problems during the install or if it is pretty straight forward.

Your experiences? Ebay links? Other links? Etc.?

You likely won't have to weld anything. Drill a hole in the manifold/exhaust, tap it and thread in the standard 1/8" NPT fitting. I used a Greddy EGT gauge--definately a very high quality unit.

My EGT did not have the electronic warning feature, but I think it's worth consideration. Afterall, you can't (and shouldn't) be looking at the gauge all the time.
