ARB bullbar for 03 Taco

First of all, I'm new here... Hi. Now that we got that out of the way I've got a question and I hope I'm posting in the right area. Yes, I searched and found some useful info... but I want a thread specific to me.

-Where do you guys get your ARB bullbars... Cheapest place to get em?
-I've seen a couple different models in use here, the Prado bar, The Runner bar, the Taco bar. Which one would be best for my 2003 Taco TRD?

definitely hit up strap22 (phil) or contact trdparts4u.com. i got my prado bar from them...couldnt find anywhere cheaper.

prado (sahara or winch/bull) bars are for 4runners with limited (or highlander/sport) fat flares. they measure 72" wide and come out about .5" past the flares. the regular taco/4runner bars measure 68" across and are for tacos/4runners with no/SR5/whacker flares...

hope this helps some

Ok, so my tacoma, being a TRD with the wide/TRD flares on it... which bar would I use? Will the regular Tacoma bar be wide enough to come to the outside of my flares?

i think the tacoma's have different mounts than the runners, thus the prado (not available in US but based on the same platform as the 4runner) will only mount up to the runner. the taco bar should fit all taco applications. this pic is off the slee site...looks like its got wider flares. not sure if oem or aftermarket..but lines up quite nicely

when in doubt, contact arbusa.com for the final word...

The 2001-2004 Bodystyle Tacos had wider flares then the previous generation Tacos. I have a 2002 with the ARB bumper and it lines up nicely with the stock flares. There is a slightly different mounting on the 2001-2004 than the earlier which the ARB kit takes into account for brackets. And I got mine for $550 shipped on the ARB scratch/dent sale. But mine wasn't scratched or dented. So I got a hell of a deal from what i normally see for a price.
