You mean rear shocks? If so, there are many different types but two popular ones for non-lifted trucks have been Bilstein HD's and Tokiko Trekmasters. Others have also gone OEM, which I believe is pretty cheap (cost). Any of the typical shock manufacturers also have shocks such as Gabriel and Monroe. It all depends on how much you want to spend.

There's also a thread about brake pads that I recently read. From what I remember, people have gone OEM, Raybestos or ceramic (I can't remember the name.). Search and you will find...

What also helps is explaining what you use your truck for and what kind of preferences you have for the drive. (If you do moderate off-road or only all road driving and whether you prefer a stiff to soft ride.)

Id stick to factory pads. I run the brembo blanks and factory pads and love them.

as for Shocks, do you plan on lifting? want something stiff or factory replacement?

if you want some factory replacements, Bilsteins ride very nicely.
