Latley the 4runner has been making a loud buzzing noise when the turning signal is engaged. The light does not come on in the dash to show its on either. Could this be a fuse or mabey a short in a wire? All help is appreciated.

Your turn signal switch is going bad. The contacts inside the switch is sticking.

 

agreed, the same thing happens in my 92 when the switch sticks betweem indicate and off

 

had that happen to my wife's old corolla years ago. it shorted enough that the battery puked on us. go get that replaced so you don't have to cringe every time you hear it. that sound is second only to the dreaded "click of death" with a dead battery or a hosed starter, for me.

 

ive seen the exact thing in a SHO taurus. you could jiggle the turn signal arm a bit and it would work totally normal. bug the ลลลล out of you, for sure.
