Subdued, Shinier, Stronger, Brighter, and Still Slow

Anyway over the last few weeks I've been doing a little wrenching painting and wiring. I replaced my broken All-Pro Steering arms with billet Marlin, I painted over the majority of my "chrome" trim with flat black bumper paint and installed a reverse and trailing light. Here are the pics.

KC 46 series independently wired. One amber trailing light for caravaning in heavy dust and one opaque white for reverse.

The 90's called they wanted my chrome back, I had to oblige.
Also touched up rock-damaged bumpers and sliders with a little sanding and herculining.

New Billet Marlin arms

Romping in a whoop-tee-doo and the driver side bearing stud sheered. Lots of air pockets in the cast steel.

Like a cat, tied to a stick...

Sorry, your title reminded me of the lyrics from Radiohead - Fitter Happier.

Also like the grille and such. I painted the rear tag surround on my last 4Runner, but never got to the other stuff.

I need to wipe out the plastic chrome like you did soon.

ohh baby, those bumpers look sweeet, I'm diggin that herculining. But for real though hit that inside with a shop vac and a wet rag at the least. But a capable looking ride.

If I were to guess, I'd say it's the same bumper as this:

Not bad for $400, unpainted... lots of potential if you want to add a stinger or anything else on down the road.

Bolt on stinger, anyone?

Actually...the rear bumper looks like Allpro, too. I wonder if he has the AllPro sliderz...?
