new skin ......ALL DONE

nice piece rolled in today ... 200K ~ 124thou. mi but lots of rust.


started at 12:45 this afternoon .




got the canopy and box rear bumper and camper-tie-downs off in 2 hours .

frame looks great ... best I have seen up here anyway .

pulled it back in , and started on the front end ... got the fenders off , and grill off ...


washed it out , and felt inside to see if any "gunk" was inside ... NOTHING .


got the NEW bed on ...just sitting there .. time to go get my son


and thats it (3:45PM) for my day .

got more done today ... tailgate is fitted , and lights in .

R fender on ..


and check out the lines ....



I'm really happy with them , very minor work needed to make them perfect .

L fender done ... and were ready for paint .




goes out tomorrow morn .

where did you get the fiberglass bed? Would that same bed fit a 89-95 pickup or does the company make a replacement for the newer model?

Man, that is one hell of a machine. Good work. Whats the next step with that after a good coat of paint? And what color is that going to be?

Just out of curiosity, how do the quarters attach? Do you pop rivet them on or use screws/fiberglass?

well shes painted . just doing the final touchups .


started putting parts and just couldnt stop to take pics

got all the front end together and and SUPER pleased with all aspects of this unit .

YOU tell me .....






almost done ....



have to put in the 1/4r windows , install the tailgate , do the splash guards and i think thats it ...
