Square Tube For Driveshaft...

Has anybody done the square shaft and have some left over metal?
I need to make one for myself and I know it will be cheaper for me to buy 20 ft of each size than get them cut to length. So if anyone else has some and doesn't need it, that would be a total score!

SIZES:
2" X 2" X .25"
2.5" X 2.5" X .25"

Thanks for looking.

I got mine from the remnant section of my local metal yard. Cheap that way, sold by the pound.

Might try looking there if you have no luck here.

Can they beat 30 bucks for metal and a half days fun to make it?
Thanks for the info though.

I wish I could tell you about the doubler. I can't find a case(not that I am looking very hard at the moment) that isn't the whole damn thing for like $250. I am trying to focus on suspension at the moment. Sort of get it ready for my summer move to Colorado!

if you want a tighter square shaft get the 2" x 2" stuff and then find what ever size will slide into that, you will have to grind a slot in the male shaft (i know that dont sound right) and it will be a very tight fit, thats what i got on mine, i can take pics to explain what I'm saying better if you want...
