2001+ 5VZ-FE tubular exhaust manifolds

I've heard they offer a performance gain even though the hp and torque number never changed. Does anyone have photos of the newer tubular manifold design? I would like to see the difference.

It probably has more to do with cam profile, but I am suprised at the poor top-end of the 5VZ-FE, even compared to my 3VZ-E.

I know this is an old post, but no one followed up on it. Is it true that there are newer style OEM 'mini headers' for the 3.4L V6 from 2001-2002? I thought that Toyota only made the 'mini headers' for the 4 cylinder from 2001+.

I have a 1997 4Runner Limited V6 and I have the ugly log style 'headers'. I also think I have a crack in mine because it ticks a lot in that area now.
