Where do I get a new tranny?

Where do I get a new tranny?
I need a new automatic tranny for my 98 4cyl 2wd Tacoma. Where is the best place to get one? Should I have mine rebuilt instead? How much am I looking at spending here?? Thanks.

How many miles on the truck? Depends on what you want to do? Marlin is a great company/group. Ask anyone....but it's money. New or rebuilt.
Probably what i would do is search around for a toyota picknpull. Just find another used tranny that matches yours and do a swap.
Many boards have trucks that are being parted out.
