I have a 1995 4x4 T-100..I haer a vibration noise in the rearend but when I let off the gas it stops..I changed the rear gear oil it was fine no metal..I am thinking it is the hanger bearing or ujoints..I don't feel the vibration but trather hear it(if that makes sense)..

 

I would definately check the rear u-joint..it sounds like the culprit since you said it stops once you let off the gas pedal.

either way let us know... you'll be lucky if its the u-joints if you can replace them yourself.

hmm, just saw this, I had a dodge dakota, did the same before I got rid of it, I was told it was the bearings in the rear axle...

 

I had changed the oil too, and saw nothing

 

You're very right...its disapointing how few posting happen here for t100's.
