Body Lift caused 4wd shifter boot to drop down - easy fix?

I have a 1.5" body lift, and as a result, there is a gap between the boot of the 4wd shifter, and the console above it

I was wondering if a fix involving velcro or clips or something along these lines would get the boot to again sit flush?

Thanks YT
