Talking Seafleas IFS Elimination and build up.

Been planning this for a while, saving up the cash and gathering parts for everything I think I need. Well, now I "think" I have most of the important parts together to start a build up thread. Hopefully this will all be done in time for the Tellico trip in May!

I am using Marlin 4" springs, shackles shock hoops. Trail-gear, front hangar and bilstien shocks all the way around.
High steer and an e-locker.

I have the Axle and have started the work on it already.
this is the Trail gear truss I added,

I am also going to 35" tires, so I plan on a regear. Got the Yukon 5.29s and install kit today from CCOR. $371 shipped to my door!

here is a pic of Wabbits old bumper. I know he likes to look at it.

You just HAD to show that off didn't you.

Just make sure the only thing trailworthy come Tellico isn't that John Deere in the background.

I wanna see updates...timely updates w/ pics. Not 8 pages of thread before you start cutting something off w/ the blue-tipped wrench like someone else I won't mention (Greg).

Talking Update:

Thanks Brian....

Here is the diff cover I put on the other day. I used an 8" pipe cap and cut it in half. Now I have on for the rear too!

no paint will be done on this axle until I am through with all the modifiactions. the paint on it now, is what I put on it to protect it from the elements.
I will be blasting it and repainting it soon.

That John Deer is over 20 years old! Just repainted everything on it!
Don't worry, there will be updates and I will not let this go 8 pages before I start cutting.

Maybe 7.........

Thanks Will,

Yours is going to be sweet. You going e-locker front and rear?

FYI: You might wanna add some steel coming out from the hanger that will go under the frame before you weld the hanger up. I wise I would have thought about it before I welded my hanger up. I think it'll be a pain to after.

I'll try to find a picture of what I'm talking about.

All you guys and your SAS's are making me jealous. I should be there one of these days, just give me a few more years

Good luck with the build. It looks like you're off to a good start.

I'm jealous... Why I want a new winch bumper if I haven't a solid axle under my front?

Waiting for more pics!

Thumbs up

Gregg,
I am going E-locker in the front and lunchbox in the rear. I will be taking pictures of the regear this weekend.

Keggo,
Sory, all the IFS lift and skid is spoken for. Mikeys87 will be getting all of it. We plan on modifying it and installing it on his rig in the next year.

Jeremy,
Yep going to do the rear also. New shackle hangars and mounts are ready to go on.

I have been collecting parts for the last year for this. I will say, ITS NOT CHEAP! Still, I cant believe all the SAS projects that have come up lately. It almost seems common to do one. FYI its 45976947 now

Thanks for all the comments guys.
