Anyone know a cheap place for touch-up paint?

I have a 2004 Tacoma in Lunar Mist and I have a nick I'd like to touch up. Where's the best place to get it?

You can get an exact match from the dealer. I got a touch up paint pen from my dealer for about 10 bucks.

question:

you have a 2004 Tacoma and you're worried about the difference between the cost of an autozone touch-up paint and a $5 tube of paint at the dealer? the difference is $2 at most. how much would it cost you to fix it if the autozone paint didn't exactly match?

I want Toyota's touch-up paint. I was just curious if I can get it cheaper than the dealer.

naaah, if you want toyota touch-up paint, then the $5 at the dealer for a tube w/ a brush is about as cheap as it gets. PM strap22 (he's phil at http://www.trdparts4u.com). he'll have the cheapest OEM prices, but shipping will more than likely kill the deal and you'd do better off getting it local on something so cheap to begin with.

i just wanted to make sure that you didn't skimp out on touch up paint to save $2 on a $20k+ vehicle...

Well it is an exact match. They have it by manufacturer and the color code. I got millenium silver like I needed. Its the same touch up pen. I honestly dont remember the cost but it wasnt expensive. $10 from a dealer is about right. I wanted to say $6 but I could be wrong.

Came back from advanced auto and they didnt have my color anymore but the touch up pens were like 5.94. The cans of spray for autos was 4.44 and the bigger cans of spray which said for trucks and SUVs was 4.94. Like i said though, they had a book to match your year and color. They just didnt have millenium silver anymore.
