Pics--SR5 stripes removed & detailed paint

There is a slight "ghost stripe" where the original "Toyota SR5 V6" lettering used to be, but you can barely see it.

Pic of the interior.

All-in-all, I don't think it's looking too bad for 10 years old, 140,000 miles and lots of wheeling.

Thanks. It took me 10-12 hours. Adhesive remover did not work for me. I used a hair dryer to lightly heat the paint and peel the stickers, then McGuire's paint cleaner (what you'd use before you detail a black truck) to remove the adhesive.

Today I removed the "Toyota SR5 V6" lettering on the tailgate and that took between 45 minutes and 1 hour.

Looks good Ken.

Hey, I was looking for my Porter Cable today, and could not find it.
I guess I know who borrowed it

I like the clean look without the strips very much.
I may help out jim (Mytruck) take his off someday.

I have real paint on my rig for two different colored pin stripes, not sure how I'd take them off without ruining the paint.

DAMN! All I see on your tailgate is the perfect reflection of you neighborhood. Looks great. It is hard to believe that it is a 10 year old, black, truck.

I don't want you guys to get the impression that this truck is a garage queen. I didn't install the electric locker for fun.

It takes a little extra care on the trail to keep it dent-free.

But I admit, it will never go on the Rubicon while I own it.

Looks much better. I don't like decals for that reason---the ghosting.

Thats the sharpest looking toy pickup ive ever seen. The cap with rack makes it though.
