93 Runner rear window has a mind of it's own!!!!

I have a 1993 4cyl 4Runner,, and the other day I found that neither the rear wiper, or rear window would work (wiper was working earlier,, but when trying later no go),, and rear window (in up position) will not go down,, (I can hear the relay clicking, when pushing the interior switch, and trying with the key from outside on the rear gate, and also can hear the clicking when no-one was even trying to move the window switch while driving down the road?),, so today I decide to dig into this problem, (I had already read up on Rodger Browns page, But didnt find anything on this problem),, I took the left rear panal off along with the inner tailgate panal,, I jumped the window motor and it went right down,, I than opened the tail gate, and tripped the gate latches, I plugged the motor wiring harness back in,, and went up to the key,, and as soon as I turned the key to the on position, the rear window started moving up without touching the window switch??,, I varified that it would do this even with the rear gate key switch disconnected,,

I also noticed that when the window travled all the way up it seemed like the motor wanted to keep trying to move it further,(thinking that that is what the clicking noise is when driving down the road)?

anyways I thought I read somewhere in here awhile back of another guy having the same problem, but when searching I could not find the post

I tried moving the wiring around while the window was going up by its self but no change,, i unplugged and replugged in the realy,, no change??

anyone ever heard of a relay going bad and getting stuck in the on postion, causing constant power to feed the "UP" direction,??

Is your switch in the console bad? I've spilled liquid into the window switch and had it do some funny things. Try popping it out and checking it.
