Went out with a few members of the Sons of Thunder today(the club I belong to)and ran cleghorn. For those that don't know Cleghorn is located off hwy 15 near Silverwood lake in the San Bernadino National Forest. There are actually 2 roads, one is a fire/service road and the other criss-crosses the fire road and is the actual 4x trial. The trail is good, most of it just enough to keep you on your toes. With a couple really bad(or good depending on how you look at it)spots But there are PLENTY of spots to jump off the 4x trail and onto the fireroad to bypass the tougher stuff. I should say though that the trail itself is most suited for trucks with a lift and tires. We had one truck(bone stock, tires no lift ect.) that bowed out in the beginning because it was more then the truck was capable if doing as it was. Here are some pictures from today:

Were you guys at the trailhead off the I-15 at about 9:30-ish? I was on my way up to mountain high for some snowboarding and saw some rigs at the trailhead of cleghorn.

 

That looks like a great trail to drive..I want to go

 

No we all were at the staging area by 8am.
