i am parting out my 87 4runner. the interior is pretty much all gone and the motor and tranny have been yanked out and are for sale.

i need to get rid of this motor asap!!!! it's a 22-re with 212,320 miles on it. best reasonable offer takes it. i have invoices and work orders and all that stuff.

a few more notes on the motor.....

i am selling the motor as it is. it ran strong the last time i drove it. i work in a mechanic shop, but i am not a mechanic..... yet. anyway, so basically i'm not tearing the motor apart because i really don't want to mess around inside there.

FIRST REASONABLE OFFER TAKES THE MOTOR.

oh, and there's no way i can ship the motor. i had a hard enough time trying to get the thing in my garage after i got home from my shop and i didn't have a hoist. but a pile of old tires did the trick!!!

there are also plenty of other good parts.

the clutch is almost new. whoever buys the motor will also get the almost new clutch.

starter, alternator, steering box, fan clutch are almost new.

i also had a 4 inch trailmaster bracket kit on the rig. the shocks still have plenty of life left. the bracket kit itself is still good, eh.... come and see it for yourself. it's got some years on it. first reasonable offer takes the trailmaster kit. shocks and rear suspension sold seperately, unless you wanted the whole package i would sell it that way too. just let me know what ya wanna do, i'm pretty flexible.

i would like to avoid shipping anything. if it's not too insane, i can ship. however, buyer pays for shipping.

anyway... THIS MOTOR MUST GO!!! COME AND GET IT!!!!!!!!! i just need to get rid of it, my grandma won't let me keep it in her garage for much longer.

if you do decide to buy the motor, you might wanna bring along an engine hoist. or something to lift it up and load it up. those suckers are heavy. just a thought.

things i cannot ship: rear leaf springs, transmission and transfer case, and the motor. sorry, but those things are just too flippen big of a hassle to even make me want to think about shipping. if you're within reasonable distance, PM me and maybe we can meet halfway.

also, whoever buys the motor will have first pick on any other little parts they need to get the motor running.... like the starter, alternator, power steering pump, fan clutch, or pretty much anything else for that matter.

the truck sat in the parking lot behind the shop that i work at for a while before i got to rip it apart. so, alot of these parts got taken off as some stuff was actually stolen and some of the mechanics borrowed some parts to test in other cars but never bothered to put back on the truck since i was parting it out anyway.

yeah, the seats are toast though. pretty much the entire interior is toast.

all the good interior parts have been stripped out and put in my brothers champion 85 pickup. the seats were already torn and old, now they've been sitting in the sun for a few months now.

yea.... they're toast. hahahaha. if you need seats that bad, come and get them. they're yours.

no power antenna. sorry, i just had the standard one and i ripped it off when i put on my glass fenders.

haha, yes i have it. i even have the brand new spare tire on the original spare rim if you are interested or if anyone else is interested. it's a bridgestone tire, can't remember the size of the top of my head but i'm pretty sure it's the same size as the original stock tires were.

i guess 20 bucks for the spare tire lift. PM me and we'll talk.

Do you have the open circuit relay switch? If so, what kind of shape is it in? Also, do you have the mounting brackets for the tail gate tension bar (don't know exactly what it is called)?

What do you want for the 4" lift the whole package shipped to 98282

 

89 4runner- i cannot ship the rear leaf springs. they are just way too big and awkward and would be a major hassle. if you wanted the front kit only plus the shocks i would let them go for 250 plus shipping. i'm sorry but you would have to arrange the shipping. just too much hassle for me to deal with when i still have the rest of the truck to get rid of. but if you can arrange it, i would be more than happy to get those parts to ya.
