Well, as some may have seen in the classifides, my 4runner's 3.0 spun a bearing this past June. After getting into the engine i found it had many more problems than just a spun bearing and rebuilding it would be ridiculous. After many months of sitting in the driveway collecting dirt i've finally decided to give her life again. I found a wrecked truck up in PA on pirate with a good 3.0. Barrowed a friends Durango, rented a trailer from a Uhaul up there and picked it up this Saturday. Sunday i got the engine and tranny/tcase out of the truck and into my 4runner. All ive got to do now is connect all the wiring and vacume lines and put the intake back on. I'll keep you all posted on the progress if you want. Its going to be nice to drive my baby again.

by the way anyone wonder why they have to run the wiring harness for the passenger side fuel injectors under the intake? bastards
