FS: 2001 Modified Tundra Limited

This vehicle and the modifications can be viewed on Tedd's website under the name Joe in the SAS section: http://www.teddnet.com/

Some other additions not listed on his site is a power steering cooler, a Howe power steering reservoir w/filter, X-lined bed and an Amsoil dual oil filtration unit. The truck has or will probably have close to 112,000 on the odometer, but the actual mileage is probably around 110,000 due to running 4:56 gears with 33” tires. I would like to get $30K or better for the truck but that’s probably a lost cause, so my price is a firm $20K. The truck stock is worth $14K or so and with the SAS, Marlin Crawler, V-6 Taco transfer case, 4:56 gears, ARB lockers, CB etc. I need another $16K but will settle for $6K as it’s very well pin-stripped, has a couple rub marks, a couple dings (hardly noticeable to a wheeler). Most pictures show the truck on Trail Ready beadlocks and BFG Crawlers. I’ll be keeping those – what you’ll be getting is 35” BFG A/Ts that are 90% or better tread – they are on Tedd’s site shown with the drop down bumper.

The reason I’m selling is I just purchased an 80 Series Land Cruiser. Getting that up to speed is going to take a little bling here and there and since I’m always running with smaller rigs like 4Runners I decided to take a step down in size.

Any one looking for a full sized rock crawler and climber you won’t be disappointed with this puppy as she can do it all and then some – anyone interested – just e-mail me (jmj@cableone.net) or PM me and I’ll answer any questions or take whatever pictures you want of the truck.

Sorry to see it go, but I'm glad you're just moving to something different. Here's a bump for you and a VERY capable truck. Good luck selling.

The interior is in great shape. If you're an interested buyer just e-mail me at the e-mail address on my initial post and I'll send pictures of anything and everything you want to see and answer any questions you may have. The CB is mounted on the rear of the center console; the twin sticks are mounted in front of the center console where the factory cup holders were. The Marlin Crawler stick is mounted in front of the twin sticks. You have two-cup holders in the dash that pull out when needed. The front seats are captain style - cloth - no rips/tears or worn spots/stains.

Well, the season is here again and I haven't received any acceptable offers to date on the Tundra. I’ll try selling it again before I install Hi9 axles, as that will make it a permanent fixture in my driveway until I can no longer wheel due to illness or death. So, if anyone is interested in a 2001 Tundra Limited daily driver, rock crawler, expedition vehicle, hunting/fishing vehicle e-mail me at jmj@cableone.net and I’ll answer all questions and send photos of any part of the vehicle you want to see.

Is the rear suspension now coils or still leaves? What front axle was used?

Tedd's site pretty well shows the beast - the rear has coils and the front is a Dana 44 high pinion with warn axles, ctm joints, ARB locker, 4:56 gears - all the stuff one needs to increase your odds against trail breakage.
