Replace stock antenna w/CB antenna, good idea?

My stock antenna on a 90 4Runner is broken, and I was going to kill two birds with one stone, using a 3 foot flexible Firestik with the AR-1A signal splitter in the same location. Has anyone done this, and has it worked? Ideas?

Not sure how well it would work considering the CB antenna is tuned in for the 29.00 megahertz range. FM radio is obviously a different bandwidth. I never tried it, but I would think it wouldnt work very well ???

Let us know if it works.

It works, not ideal but it does work. AM/FM reception is fine, CB SWR does get somewhat higher with the splitter in the line.
